Proposition 65 Warning

What is Proposition 65?

Proposition 65 is a California law that requires businesses to provide warnings to California residents about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The list of chemicals is maintained by the State of California and is updated annually.

Chemicals of Concern

Some of our baking and cake decorating products may contain or be packaged in materials that include trace amounts of the following Proposition 65-listed chemicals:

• Bisphenol A (BPA) — found in some plastic food containers and packaging
• Phthalates — found in some plastic materials
• Lead — may be present in trace amounts in certain ceramic or metal components
• Cadmium — may be present in trace amounts in certain pigments or coatings
